Another Year in the Books!

Well 2012 has come and gone and hopefully it was a successful year for all. ThinkingAhead as a whole had a so so year, but the Banking and Commercial Finance Team put together another impressive run finishing up 17% and just missing eclipsing the 2MM mark for the first time sense 2007.

2013 looks to be a good growth year in the banking world. With the reelection of Obama certain areas such as Compliance and Operations appear to be primed for an up tick. The slow growth of the new business market has continued to keep lending climbing but very slowly. Long gone are the days of bringing someone in from out of market and expecting them to have much of an impact. I see 2013 shaping up similarly to 2012 in there being a high need for strong local Commercial Bankers.

My goal for 2013 is to focus more exclusively on the Region of Northern IL, Southern WI, and Eastern IA. I don’t know how helpful if at all this blog is but hey it is fun for me and any feedback certain would be appreciated. Lets all work together to make this the biggest and best year yet.
