Always a good idea to take a look at your resume every so often and make sure that you are doing everything you can to make yourself as marketable as possible. Don’t think that this is unnecessary even if things are going great at your current job. It always makes sense to have your resume updated. If it has been several years since you have looked at it, I would recommend pulling it out and adding what you consider to be your best accomplishments over the last few years. Things are always changing and if you have to update when it is too late you may forget some of the things that should be on there (if it has been a few years) and you may be late getting to the party by spending time updating it.
