Thanksgiving/ Candidate Control

Had a great thanksgiving with the family up in Kentucky!! Had several interviews that seemed to have gone well and I am anxious to move everything forward to the next step. Really trying to slow things down and make sure all of my candidates are sincere in their interest in the positions. That seems like a great tip for any rookie recruiter and something that I had to learn the hard way. Don’t push someone thought the process. If they are not giving you every single go sign then there is a very strong possibility that things are not going to come together. In reality it is a pain in the butt to change jobs and if at the end of the day there is no real motivation to leave where you are then you are not going to leave.
